By accessing, browsing, or using yummistic.com or our related mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Yummistic is intended for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers aged 18 or older. 3.1 Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the safety, nutritional suitability, and ingredient appropriateness of all recipes, meal plans, and food suggestions for your children, including consideration of allergies, food intolerances, dietary restrictions, and special health conditions.
3.2 No Professional Advice: Content on Yummistic, including recipes, meal plans, and user-submitted information, is for informational and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute professional nutritional, medical, or allergy advice. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals, registered dietitians, or allergists regarding your children's dietary needs and health concerns.
3.3 Allergy Verification: You must independently verify all ingredients and potential allergens before serving any meal to your children. Yummistic is not liable for allergic reactions, food poisoning, or other health issues resulting from ingredient choices or food preparation.
3.4 Recipe Accuracy Disclaimer: User-submitted recipes, ingredient data, allergy information, and nutrition details may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You must independently verify all information, including ingredient sourcing, preparation methods, nutritional content, and allergen data before relying on any content for your family's meal planning or health decisions.
Yummistic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial family meal planning and recipe discovery purposes, subject to these Terms.
You agree not to use Yummistic for any of the following purposes:
You retain ownership of all recipes, photos, comments, meal plans, and other content you submit to Yummistic ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights to share such content.
By submitting Your Content, you grant Yummistic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license only as needed to:
You retain all ownership of Your Content. This license permits limited retention for legal compliance, backup, or previously published marketing purposes. Upon your deletion of Your Content or account closure, Yummistic will cease new uses but may retain archived or previously published versions as needed for legal, backup, or operational purposes.
Yummistic may remove, edit, or refuse to display Your Content if it violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, is illegal, harmful, spam, or otherwise reasonably violates our community guidelines. We will attempt to provide notice where feasible, though we may remove content immediately if it poses a legal or security risk.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You represent and warrant that Your Content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, is accurate and non-misleading, and does not violate any laws or these Terms.
6.1 Sponsored Placements: Yummistic may include sponsored ingredient placements, promoted brands, and paid recommendations in search results, meal planning features, ingredient suggestions, and recipe recommendations. Some ingredient or brand placements may be prioritized based on sponsorship agreements. We disclose sponsored content where applicable and will be transparent about brand partnerships.
6.2 Affiliate Links & Commissions: Yummistic may earn commissions, affiliate fees, or other compensation from links to retailers, ingredient suppliers, or related services. Your engagement with such content is voluntary, and we encourage you to compare options and make informed decisions.
6.3 Creator Rewards: If we offer rewards programs or monetization opportunities for featured content, the terms of such programs will be provided separately and may be subject to additional conditions and eligibility requirements.
7.1 Our Content: All content on Yummistic, including platform content, text, graphics, branding, design elements, original editorial materials, software, and other proprietary materials (except user-submitted content), design, layout, and software, is owned by or licensed to Yummistic and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any content from Yummistic without our express written permission, except as permitted by applicable fair-use laws.
7.3 Permitted Use: You may download or print individual recipes for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices.
7.4 Trademarks: "Yummistic" and related logos are trademarks of Yummistic and may not be used without our prior written consent.
8.1 Termination Rights: Yummistic may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account and access to the Service if you engage in conduct that violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or creates legal, operational, or security risks for the platform or community. We will attempt to provide notice when feasible, though we may suspend or terminate immediately for urgent security or legal concerns. Examples include:
8.2 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may lose access to Your Content, saved recipes, meal plans, and other data associated with your account.

9.1 "As Is" Service: Yummistic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9.2 Disclaimer of Warranties: Yummistic makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any content, including user-submitted recipes and nutritional information. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9.3 Limitation of Damages: In no event shall Yummistic, its owners, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service, including damages for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9.4 Applicable Law: To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid Yummistic in the past 12 months, if any.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yummistic, its owners, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content or violation of third-party rights; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable laws; or (d) harm to third parties caused by your actions on the Service.
Yummistic may contain links to third-party websites, retailers, and services. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or conduct of third-party websites. Use of third-party links is at your own risk, and any transactions or disputes with third parties are solely between you and that third party. We recommend reviewing third-party privacy policies and terms before providing your information.
Google reCAPTCHA v3: Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent spam and abuse. By submitting any form on Yummistic, you acknowledge that your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Google's Terms of Service.

Features, availability, functionality, content, and user interface may change, be interrupted, or contain bugs, inaccuracies, or temporary issues during this phase. Do not rely solely on beta features, nutritional information, or platform recommendations for medical, allergy, or dietary decisions.
Yummistic reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any features) at any time. We will attempt to provide notice of material changes. We are not liable for any modifications or discontinuation of the Service.
These Terms and your use of Yummistic are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
16.1 Informal Resolution: Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us at the information provided below to attempt to resolve any disputes informally.
16.2 Formal Claims: Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Yummistic shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, through the appropriate courts or through arbitration if mutually agreed upon.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Yummistic regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements.
